Life Is A Highway

I'm going on my first plane ride to Maine tomorrow. I'm going to meet my sister there and we're going to drive all the way home to California. 

Hopefully I'll get to post some pictures of our stinkin awesome road trip.

As long as you're next to me

I found a box of letters that my great-grandfather wrote to my great-grandmother in 1943, when he was in World War II. I actually read a little bit of one of them, they were just so cute! He always called her "my beautiful darling."

He wrote her a letter like eight times a month! 

 I think it's adorable.
